My Year
Where you Belong

MY YEAR

While I was
just looking in the mirror
another year
has swished past me
like a snow flake.

Time is such a funny thing
Some times,
it’s like a breeze
Uplifting and invigorating.

Other times,
it is like a storm
that shakes you
deep down to your roots.

Sometimes,
it is so still
makes you question
the very purpose of our existence.

Other times,
it is so generous
that you want to share yourself
with every body around you.

This was a year for me
all this
and
much more .

Still left me
with a feeling
of an empty space
within me
that no body has yet touched.

This is exactly
what keeps me going
searching exploring as an artist.

Ironbridge 1995

Life is a wonderful journey, if shared with love and care for others
