My writing is like making a path that is physically comfortable
for the feet, visually stimulation for the user, with a place
to rest, think, contemplate and to laugh, just like the sculpture
'Along the Trail', I made for the National Garden Festival in
1987.
Life is continuous flow of events/stories, like
pieces of stone in a quarry. I choose the ones I feel for, and
I put them together one next to - the other. I admire the writer
who can weave complex plots of long novels/plays; I have no such
skills.
My life was never structured for followed any
pattern, so I have not developed the skills of planning and structuring.
I would tell you the stories from life as they come to my head.
That gives me the freedom to let my thoughts flow freely.
Just come with me for a walk along a trail that
I have walked, if nothing else but for a laugh.
